Washer Bottle lid...I dropped it...need new one
I dropped the Washer Bottle lid, or rather I dropped the wifes :-[
Can't see it as its a diesel and no room to swing a cat. Probably on the under tray
Part one here. Must be pants if they've changed it 3 times, any idea on price at dealer? Or if you have a spare uwanted gift to keep the household happy?

Realoem shows no price and ebay are stupid prices (£8+)

No idea :noexpression:...knowing BMW it would be a different diameter...
Now I think about it....
I need a captive nut for the pollen fillter screws
I need a captive nut for the sound deadning panel over the engine and bolt to go with it
I need a nut for the scuttle under the wipers
I haven't given blood for a while either so a trip to the dealer perhaps warranted
...but I'm not clumbsy O:-)

That's a point...nicely outside of the box thinking......"look sir, it's stored down there for safe keeping" )

Washer bottle cap - It does say X5 and E39 - my son is at work in his E39 or I could have compared them

I need a couple of nuts for the washer bottle itself and a spare washer bottle cap is stored on the undertray somewhere

ordered? Is it a non stock item as I'd planned (if work ever permits) to drop in

I might ask them to fit it for me seeing as it's a tricky operation and my "tools" weren't up to scratch

Must be the season for it. Including me, is that 2 or 3 now that's done it.
Perhaps it should be a dealer recall ) due to contaminants getting in the bottle now and an unbalanced chassis due to the additional weight on the engine sub floor. Maybe that's why it pulls a little to the right>?

You could be onto something there fella )
Did you bother even trying to get hold of it? I gave up after 5 mins. No chance I was getting my hand anywhere near it.
