Bluetooth pass code

Recently purchased an X5 which has bluetooth but I don't have the pass code for pairing it with my phone. Spoke to the dealer and apparently they don't have it and will need to hook it up to their diagnostic system to obtain it
Is there any other way of finding out what the pass code is?

Hi you will find it on the Bluetooth central unit in left rear boot area (underneath CD changer). hope that helps. it should be 4 digits.

Hi - hoping someone can help - i ahve the same issue with not havign the ccode but I cannot find the unti to get the code from. There is a silver box lyign at an angle of 45 degrees below the cd unit - is that it ? If so there is a number but appears to have the code obscured by various mounting brackets which i cant see how to release (will try and psot a pic at the weekend)
Thanks

That's the one
it's the bluetooth module and iirc my code was hidden behind the bracket
just undo it and then there should be a four digit code

Yes, I remember having the same problem when I got my car. You have to remove the unit to see the number. Better than paying a stealer though!
