Hi Folks,
Just saying hello.
After me and my other half swapped from an Impreza STI to an e46 M3 SMG last summer (our first BMW) I was impressed with our 'new' car, so I began looking at X5's to replace my JDM Forester STI '04.
Three weeks ago I made the change and now have a black 3.0D sport on a '55 plate with 63k on the clock. It's grey leather inside with Sat Nav. A familiar spec on these I'm sure.

Sorry for the crap pic - and it's barely been clean since I got it either!
I've been very pleased with it so far and it's proving a good family chariot, if somewhat more of a sedate drive compared to the 300bhp Forester. The fuel costs of the X5 are a bonus though, which might not be something all new owners would say!
We're also loving the M3 and I'm on m3cutters forum a fair bit with that.
Cheers
Iain
