I got made for my Ducati's but worth a go on cars i guess.
British made and then uniquely specified battery monitor, one glance and you know what state your battery is in.
Riding the bike it confirms your battery is being charged, or not !
Unit semi sleeps when the bike is parked, reverts to flashing so a 95% reduction in power usage.
Only uses 10Ma, 0.5Ma when the bike is parked.
Just two wires to the battery and its connected ! (unit has an internal fuse but best you fit a 5amp inline fuse to protect the wiring to it, not supplied).
Unit displays as below;
LED Solid Green @ over 12.8v (so no flashing when riding)
LED Flashes Green @ 12.3v - 12.8v
LED Flashes Red @ once below 12.3v
It cannot be wired the wrong way round.
Its waterproof (still best located somewhere with protection).
It comes fitted with circa 800mm long bare ended leads, should fit almost any vehicle.
What do you need to fit it which is not included ?
14mm drill, or a smaller drill and just ream the hole bigger to suit.
29mm space/void/hole behind panel for it to go into.
Silicone or glue applied to the rear to hold it in place is recommended although not needed.
I can easily email pictures if requested but its a neat LED in a black surround. Cost is £15.00 inc post.
