Hi there.

I had the factory nav/DSP/etc and have gone down the aftermarket route.

It's fairly straight forward if you are going down the aftermarket headunit, amps, speakers route as you can just bypass all the factory equipment and recoup some of the money by selling these bits on. Only thing with the aftermarket route is you will lose the OBC functionality (resetting the mpg, etc) so as long as you don't mind that then it's all good.

As for fitting, I can certainly do it (or you can DIY it) but you certainly don't have to go to company.

Good luck with your decision.

Firstly I'd set some kind of budget to try and work to. You also need to decide what headunit for example, as if you decide on a double din unit then you need to factor in a fascia plate, etc to fit the OE gap.

Budget wise I'm thinking around £1k maybe something like a hauligen etc as I want to have the sat Nav Bluetooth etc

I already have a four channel amp which I could use
The speakers won't cost much I guess

Main thing is all the Dsp wiring I'm the boot
