Latest Mod - Rear Seat Heating Retro Fit

I always felt a little guilty having a toasty bum up front and those in the back shivvering
So - Just fitted the Waeco MSH60 heated seat kit to the rear seats.
What a pain getting the leather off the seat base (even worse trying to get it back on without slicing your hands!) but well worth the effort...
Just need to modify the supplied switches as they are round and i want to fit something more in keeping to the front switches!! However that can wait me thinks

Oh you bugger!
I want to do that but can't be bothered as both are in child seats at the moment.
Can you not tap into say the OEM switches if you could get some? Obviously have to by-pass the OEM loom they fit to and straight to your new wiring loom.
Does this retro-fit just heat the base or the backs too? Quick google shows backs too (and not that bad for price either)!

Don't worry, by the time they get out of those seats you'll be the same as me, in a used E70 - with the heated seats.....

. Well in my case retired so I'll be in the back
I didn't spec them in the X6 as I never carry anyone in the back.....got that one wrong then ::)

Yep Backs too.
They were actually easier than the base!!

If i can get some then i can mod anything!!
lol

Was looking to knock up a quick PIC circuit to allow the multi stage setting ala the fronts to tie in the operation

Yep they can
They are generic aftermarket jobbies.
Apparently get fitted to a lot of landrovers..

I'd like to retro fit fronts, I've got OEM switch unit but haven't got round to finding aftermarket heat pads..
Any info would be appreciated! Wiring diagrams etc.
