We bought a new one (£180) due to this one being slightly frayed and annoying the girlfriend - ruining her girly delicate jumpers. It's also a bit slow to retract, but retracts fine since I've removed it - been told a Hoover and some silicone in the belt fixes it.
I've attached a picture showing the fray.
I would have binned it - but if someone has an MOT failed belt, or maybe a dog chewed one - it might be handy for them.
I've attached a picture if the frayed bit - it passed the last MOT - apparently it has to be seriously weakened to fail the MOT
