Thinking of getting a 7 series

Post by westside » Wed Jan 09, 2013 3:22 pm

Ive seen this 7 series (I know danny he brought my 750 sport)

http://www.sovereign-trading.co.uk/

I'm thinking of chopping the x6 in for this (it would need a re map).  I'm thinking of dropping it one some nice rims and fitting the WALD kit to it.  I love the x6 but I also love the shape of the 7....would you do the swap.  I'm not looking to spend any more dosh i'd just swap the x6 out to him.

Car not finished and already bored?!  :))

I'd rather be driven around in a 7 series, than drive one myself.

You are a nutta....lol.

I'd keep the X6 a little while longer tbh as you haven even had a chance to enjoy it.

As for the 7, you've been there already and not really too long ago although I admit the new one is very nice. I had the exact same one back end of 2011 and it was beautiful.

Tough call though.

If your selling you can give me the brakes and wheels...PMSL.

The 7's a nice enough car, my Dad has an F01 730d too. One thing I will say is that the LD is quite large.

So if you're garaging it make sure it's going to fit!

Do you need the LWB, personally I think it makes the car look a little ungainly from the side (extra long doors). That one is a nice spec though with the rear entertainment (believe it was a free upgrade on the longwheel base for a while).

I cant believe your looking to change just when you x6 is just  finished and i thought my brother in law changed his cars frequently.

Have you thought about hiring them - lol

Ps I think you x6 is nicer than the 7 series IMHO

I'd disagree after having this lovely motor for a few weeks. Superb to drive and kids loved the space in the back too:
