My 02/52 4.4 Sport (87k mls FBMWSH) makes a groaning/creaking noise from the back, particulary when pulling away from a standstill. I seem to remember from the old site that there was a known issue about rear bushes but I can't seem to find details on this site. I recently had the pads changed all round and asked the indy to check the rear bushes and he thought that they were ok.
I've had a quick google around and found some mention of the bushes and also (I think!) changing wishbones as well but would appreciate any advice/pointers. I've had the car for a year and it seems to have become more noticeable recently, and I think that the ride in general has become harsher - difficult to tell with the increasingly poor state of the roads though
