Can anyone recommend LED replacements for Numberplate & Angel eye markers?

Seen these on ebay but not sure what there like, for the angel eyes I really wanted them as bright as the latest BMWs have.

i found these brighter than my old ones as these have 6 smaller leds rather than the 3 bigger ones you normally get on the number plate leds.

Facelift marker lights, White light, but you wont get bright ones for the E53

Dipped beam HIDS you will need H7 bulbs (metal or plastic base, depending on what your headlights are at the moment ) mine is a 55plate facelift with projector lights, with metal based bulbs, you may need to order metal retaining clips, I reused originals by cutting them with a pair of sidecutters, so to straddle the wiring in HIDS kit .

These are the Angel eye, dipped beam conversion/upgrade, and numberplate bulbs that I have fitted to mine.
Please check if suitable fitment for your car first. BY LOOKING inside your headlights. If you have no beam level adjuster on youir dash, you already have Xenons, and yes the OEM ones are crap as well (35W )

As for the AE's, you'll find the ones you linked are the standard LED replacements and won't be E70 bright as tbh there isn't much out there for the E53 to match the E70 brightness.

The EBay Number plate LED's suggested are 2 big, they are 39mm, but the number plate ones need to be 36mm.  I currently have 36mm LED's fitted, but thought I would try those listed above, but being to big and trying to squeeze the unit into the holder, ended up breaking the bulb holder solder connection.

I used a screw driver to bend the connection back to make space, put the led in position then just squeezed it back again... Job done

Bugger and apologies. I linked the wrong bloody ones by mistake.

36mm ones

I got mine off HIDS Direct. The number plate LEDS are bright and are white with a hint of blue like ice blue which is nice and not like most cheap ones.

LEDs are LEDs, its very basic and cheap technology. The cheap ones on Ebay were probably manufactured in the same plant as your premium priced ones, the difference is a HIDs Direct box, a guarantee and probably a 400% mark up.
