Ebay why do i get them

Just spent 20 mins arguing with a chap over postage costs to Northern Ireland tracked

he insist he's right as previpusly sent items but he ain't selling item I am and I'm going by Royal Mail info but he won't accept it

Why are people so!!!!!

ended up saying bottom lne take it or leave it and your wasting my time and I won't reply to any more questions on it

In end i'd rather not sell it to him

Make sure you block him from buying from you, he may buy just to leave you neg feedback.

Agree with the above block him or better still tell him he can pick it up in person if he wants  .

Thanks for help so blocked him , and he is still arguing some people dont know when to give up what a pain in the a***

What is his argument?  Royal Mail prices are the same to Northern Ireland as they are to mainland UK.

I gues he doesn't realise the weight at 3kg quoted for tracked special delivery next day as tracked service 

however he sent head units 1st class recorded fro a tenner he thinks that's is tracked which it is not as per royal mail only an electronic signature,

so probably not same weight or service but won't accept it , oh dear there is no winning with some I'm no longer replying as wasting my time

The problem comes not from you but the sellers that use the Irish Sea as an excuse for hyping the price.  That doesn't excuse him from being unreasonable! What he's asking for, ie tracked, next day and 3kg is asking a lot and will be priced accordingly. 

I purchased an item from eBay last week at a cost of £20 plus postage of £8. After I paid, I realised that they wanted another £10 for NI.  Now don't ask me why, but they never asked for the extra £10 which was just as well as they used Royal Mail and the true cost £4.65. 

I know when I sell on eBay I always charge the postage at cost.  I know some make a little extra but those that dig their arm in, wind me up.

He's blocked and rightly so.  You go and enjoy the festive season and have a smashing new year.  :xmasgrin:

Yeh you're right, no winning with some folk. I have the carriage extra issue constantly up here in the Highlands.  I can (reluctantly!!) accept this if it's a carrier but refuse to buy from anyone who charges extra when it's by post,
