Personally not heard of them
I've used DMS and Emaps in the past, both of whom I can recommend.

Is that Jason in West London? I really want to get mine done.
Does it make an (positive) difference to MPG when cruising at 70-80mph?

Yes I'm that Jason
Depends on how you want it remapped
If you want power and more mpg then you will get about 3-4 mpg more

That sounds a bit optimistic particularly at the speeds stated (70-80mph). The car is still a brick and aerodynamics cut in then (or not as the case maybe)
I've never seen gains that high before

Depends of how the car has been tuned and the way it is driven
Best to ask people who have had there cars Remapped by us for power and extra mpg
Nige did some testing with power and mpg mod tunes we made for him towing a 1 ton car and trailer
He got 2-3 mpg more and that was towing

Sounds like some claim and one I've not heard of anywhere else, particularly at the high speed suggeted. An exception as opposed to a rule I would suggest.

It all depends on how the tuned file is made to start with
I have learnt from may of the top tuners out there and seen se of the worst
Don't forget I own the oldest tuningtools supplier in the uk

Ok I can't be bothered to argue anymore.
I've known of Rob and Mike a long time (Rob does some of the RMA track days that I attend) and many of my friends (true ones not internet ones) have used them and they don't tend to claim such large MPG gains
I think you said you also wrote Simon's re-maps and he doesn't claim those gains either.
The most recent posts on here saying how good you are (which I am not denying) are from non-forum members who just seemed to have signed up to say that and then disappear again, hmmmmm
My point has to be, like everything there are two sides to every story, and therefore if people are just planning on using you for an economy gain that you can not guarantee such an improvement and they should not be disappointed if they don't reach the claims suggested. Lets face it the real world economy figures don't match BMWs claims either and they spend millions on development
Finally on the 30sd post you mentioned that you had friends running 750Nm which I am sure is possible but it would seem very well known that the safer limit is 700Nm with these boxes. Just because they are running them doesn't mean it will last the same time as one nearer the limit
Anyway over and out and good luck

Who's arguing ??
I have never said I write tuned files for simon at Emaps , I've said he's a Freind and fellow tuner and have recommended him simon to others
As for rob dms,he learnt his tuning by one of the best and oldest tuners in the uk when he worked for Ray West or in them days west tuning dms if you look in the old EVO mags
ray is also a good freind of mine and I've learnt a lot from him as we'll as he makes power files
If its mike cooper you know he a top bloke when I've spoke to him always makes me laugh
As for the people or should a say humans beings that join the forum to get the remap at a discounted price then post there findings and not post again
So due to the comment by 535dboy all new members will need to post regularly to get the forum members remap discount price and be a member for 2 months or more
May be you should google 'bwchiptune or bwchiptune review' and see how many regular members have posted on other forums about our work
It's a shame that we didn't have all the old remap posts from the old forum be fore if went down as a lot of regular members posted up there findings
I remember the post one member posted up after a few weeks after his remap on his remap on his x5 e53 that he never told his wife about
She told him there was some think wrong with the car as it dove different and she was putting less fuel in it taking the kids to school lol
As for the 3.0sd or 3.5d
Yes we have friends running 750nm of torque for more that 6-7 years with no problem some of these are other tuners
my mate in ireland has had 593 ft on his friends 3.5d's with no problems and these are our good friends cars as they asked for more than the normal
As for customers cars we limit the torque to 700nm the so called safe limit for this gear box
