heaters not working any ideas ?

hey all definately the wrong time of the year but heaters decided to pack up day before yesterday so ive been stuck with the problem as the wife didnt want a cold/dangerous car at this time of the year with the kids. so all the heating lights come on as normal but no blower and no heat. ive checked the fuses and they are ok? could it be the FSR has packed in, ive had it relaced before but symptoms were fans running in the background when the car was off. any help greatly appreciated.
