Hi there,

Traded in my c class estate for an X5 3.0d msport.  hopefully should be here in the next 2 weeks.  first 4x4 ever owned but the test drive sold it.  looking at snow tyres already as living in Aberdeen we tend to get hit sometimes + it helps getting up the hills for snowboarding at the weekend also.

Cheers Guys,.

hiteik - i used to live in oldmeldrum so know exactly what its like - the snow tyres on my merc worked wonders and was never stuck after that.

Wil keep an eye out as want to get a spare set of alloys for the winter tyres to go on.

You can use E53 on an E70 with adapter (spigot) rings for the different centre bores.

well picked up the car on xmas eve - chufed to bits with it.  I was so excited that i left the showroom without them gifing me the cheque for my trade in!!

With all the floods up here, its been tested out and is covered in mud already.  Once the weather gets better it will get a clean and a few photos up.

Other way round Richard as the centre bore on the E70 is bigger than E53.

We'll put it down to too much alcohol...lol
