Midlands Christmas Meet / Meal 23rd December

Well a new Hungry Horse Pub (The Gatehouse) has opened up on the Stafford Road in Wolverhampton (a couple of minutes from J2 of the M54), HERE'S THEIR WEBSITE.

So, I thought it could be a good opportunity to have a get together if anyone is up for it? Good chance to put some faces to usernames, etc and get some food and a couple of drinks.

Sunday 23rd December at 7pm at the venue listed above
I know it's only 2 days before Crimbo but its a Sunday so you've all still had time to finish off your Christmas shopping and gives you still time with your families on the Sunday.

Anyone interested?

Cheers,

Raj.

Tempting but...

After the meal are we sticking around for a chat? If so, don't think they'd be happy for a bunch of us to be parked up in their carpark. Unless you have another place to hangout in mind before or afterwards?

14th is a possible for me, bit far but if the numbers stack up I might be able to make.

So where would that get you too as another location is Birmingham.

Much though I would love to come. I will be right in the middle of delivering end of year staff reports so won't get there until very late and have to turn round and go home again so I'm ready for the next day's battles!!

Managements Sucks!!  ;)

No worries Richard, it doesn't look to promising anyway.

I will start a new thread shortly for a last ditch attempt to get you folks together up this way then give up...lol

We do need one in the Midlands though I agree.  Bristol meets are a bit of a stretch for us 'Easterners', but Brum area isn't too bad (via the M6 Toll).

Quite why my employer chooses to do its staff reporting in the 10 days up to Xmas is madness, but......

Typical Southerners organise it throughout the week when it becomes more difficult. Personally think thats why it was done that way........ :boxing:

Hmmm, 62 miles.  Can't do 17th or 19th, otherwise will give it a go.
