Just had a search and did not really find what I was after, so here's another question about them  :-[

Has anyone bought a rear parking sensor from EBay recently, if so do you still have a link or can you copy me the seller?

Ta  :)

Should have mentioned, its the rear, drivers middle that I need.

Easiest ones to change, remove the plastic  cover in the centre ( towbar ) put your hand in, feel under the rear of sensor where it comes through the bumper, you will feel a plastic tab, pull the tab upwards and it will come away. this allows the sensor body and the outer tapered part of the holder to be pushed outwardly towards you. The sensor can then be unplugged,as its easier to see the plug retaining clip when its hallway out.
Pete.

Here is a question that has been bugging me for a few days.my pdc is throwing an error. First it was the front side beeping solid for a few secs and got quite but the pdc light was flashing now it is the rear one doing the same but front is quiet. I listened for clicking and all do the ticking sound. Hooked up the bmw tool and it says " Acoustic generator, front off"
Does it mean offside front sensor? Which one of the 2 on off side though? Center one or corner one?

Reseat the PDC module in the boot buddy, next to the TV/RCM module - has three connectors going to it (sits outside of the plastic frame but still inside the battery recess under the plastic BMW enbossed cover.

Oh and after a few days now, wait for that surgery to heal!

It is going to have to wait for
1-)  me to feel better
2-) the X to come back from the gearbox company for routine check up to make sure all is good under warranty. They are supposed to come and pick it up tomorrow and give me a loaner.
Thanks for the heads up sanj.
I think this happenned because they had to take off the bumper for bull bar install.

Do you know by any chance what colour the PDC module is? Is it the white module sits adjacent to the radio module towards the rear of the car?

This was the inspirational sentence made me go look to see where the module was "LAST" night :)

I can't remember.  Glad your getting some use out of the scanner though.  If you turn off the front sensors the rears will work.
