Well, the deed has been completed and now the very proud owner of an X6. Now before you all harp on about no pics.....
.......I know and will resolve over he next couple of days. After collecting the car early yesterday morning we drove to my aunts house only 15 miles away so not much of an introduction and due to excessive chat and banter, I didn't even get near the car again until after six and that was just to run to the shops for milk etc! Any excuse by this stage. ::)
So this morning we have traveled up to Liverpool to catch the ferry to Belfast and will arrive around 18:30. The trip this morning allowed me time to play with a few of the toys but can see the manual taking up residence it the wc for the next few days. ::)
For the trip today I set he cruise control at 70 and including a little start stop city driving returned 33mpg so happy with that, just have to see what happens once home and having to contend with the hills.
Loving the high, commanding driving position, although reversing in tight spots will take a little practise. The HUD is great, and I'm surprised how convenient it is, as well as becoming second nature almost instantly. Comfort seats......yes they are. The daughter (9 going on 19) loves the rear heated seats and four zone A/C. Still a few more toys to play with and as promised above pics will follow in due course.

Ok, not proper pics at this stage, just a couple of shot of the journey computer read outs.
The last trip in the F10 with seven miles of city driving and cruise control on 70 mph for the motorway.

This was the reverse trip less a few miles as I started from the aunts place this morning.
