Morning all, my rear parcel shelf does not roll in (2006 x5). I have opened it and found the spring inside the tube is no longer connected. Does anyone know if this can be repaired (shop?). Used ones are hard to get and expensive for what it is.

not sure how to take apart but it maybe a silly question but does it have a warranty and if fault would dealer cover it ?

Don't think so, haven't tried. The X is on 104000 miles, and well out of warranty. So maybe not. Worth a try though, shall call them tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks mate.
