Well she bought the car back yesterday from the mot and it passed with nothing needing doing other than a little handbrake adjustment.
I know it should pass if you maintain and keep it tidy but your always expecting that little something needs doing!!! So i am a happy chappy with no cost but the mot itself
Edit.. oh and i have just noticed down below happy birthday Jase the big 4 0 have a good un!
Hi folks, I signed up to the old website just before it went AWOL and have just found you guys again.
Not sure if you all know about this site: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... G_10020539
Lets you see how your car got on on previous MOTs.
Quite handy if you are wondering about the history of your motor, or one you may be looking to buy.
Also quite good if you are buying from a dealer who has the car MOTd for you, they will give you the certificate but may not pass on any advisorys that may come with it.
This happened in my case when I bought my 2004 3.0D. Dealer MOTd it and gave me the certificate but when I checked online I found there was an advisory for the brake lines.
Presented this to the dealer who agreed to change the lines all be it with a slightly red face!
Look forward to asking you folks lots of stupid questions in the future!!
mine just sailed through aswell today with no advisories!! (was 4 days over due!!!!! :/ oops!!! but then should have sailed through the amount ive spent on it lately!!! bushes etc arms etc
