Fitted new LED angle eye bulbs on Monday but have noticed tonight when i was parked up to the garage door in the dark that when i turned on the ignition with the lights off the angle eyes were flashing across and back, i had a Volvo truck that did the same the lights flashed while it did its check, is this what my X is doing ? 

my x5 has done this before, but not every time i dont think, but im sure its normal and that as long as there ok afterwards its ok

Hi Shadrack as you will know the FH goes through a similar light check, i am thinking that's what the X is doing, apart from that no problems with electrics,

Totally normal as it is self testing and personally think it looks cool.

My number plate ones do the same.

Thats normal for LED's the cold test pulses to check the bulbs is enough to light up LED's but not the normal halogens, havnt noticed mine as have them on DRL's coded it with the scanner.
I may take the code out and check them, Ive seen them on youtube showing the flashes. I think it looks cool as well, you can turn off the cold pulse test to the LED markers on the scanner if you want.

Turn them off not if they look cool Pete !!!  lol
