Check brake linings

Hi all,

Awesome to see the forum back up and running!!

My x has the message "check brake linings". They pads are fine!!

Any ideas?

No fella, they're not - check the inside one's. And welcome!

Here's a comparison with my inside one's... The outside one's looked fine!

And as the message is up, you need to replace the sensor as well (a tenner).

Which model X?

For a 3.0, £40 for the pads, £10 for the sensor (Sanj - :P )

1 hour labour, so £60 or so.

Just had my front pads replaced this week got pads from GSF £56 sensor £7
fitted my Nigel at Moseley Motorsport Telford £40.
BMW doing special at moment £149.
