I have a problem! Wife's car wouldn't start this morning ( x5 55 plate 3.0d sport) . Jumped started no problem but noticed when I came home tonight that the interior light is not going off . When I lock it with the button the alarm keeps going off aswell !! I've tried pressing the key twice to diss arm the motion sensors and also disconnected the bonnet switch! Can someone please advise as I'm pulling my hair out!! Someone please help 

If the interior light isn't going out then the motion sensors and bonnet switch will make no difference. Have you pressed the interior light switch to try and turn it off? Otherwise pull the fuse for the interior light out as a temp fix to stop the alarm seeing the power drain.
