Just done mine. I used T10 smd LEDs from eBay. Well impressed. Just need to take mirror cover off. Undo screw that holds lamp to case, then twist bulb holder and swap bulb. Easy job mate. Only took a few minutes to do both sides

Now all you have to do is get the mirror cover off without breaking most of the tabs off like I did !

So I don't need to take the actual mirror out? Apologies for being thick. I hate messing with glass and plastic.

Mirror itself doesn't need to be removed. But as above, you do need to be very careful not to break the cover tabs or cover itself trying to remove it.

I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to take the covers off mine to do this. One day the yellow glow will force my hand.

Technically you're correct, but as with a 501 bulb the light still shines all round and you can never have too much light......lol.

Oh and I did say 'Something like THIS' in my defence.... :-[

Clan are all good. Will be in London next week on a course over in Barbican so if anyone fancies hooking up for a drink or bite to eat then let me know.

Also just fitted my latest mod (retrofit electric rear reclining motors, etc).... 8)
