Fiat 500 Abarth

Rather then continue in the "Old" cars thread - I was actually looking at getting one of those (Convertible) for Mrs PVR.
I have never driven one, only seen one parked on the road. They seem fairly cheap (about 17k) which is the same as the entry level Golf I think. But - it is a bit different in a way.
Anyone actually driven one? Not too keen on the Mini, just too many of those about and I found the gear box horrible.

Sorry not driven one but also like the look of them.
A few one ones around my neck of the woods but saw a grey one today and all I can say is
Tempting hardtop

Dealers all seem to be far away - I assume a standard Fiat dealer does not deal in them then?

Loads my way pvr - they are OK. Sorry, not my cup of tea but possibly in the right colour and combo.
There's a small place tucked away that does all the extras for the dealer - stripes, etc.
Come say hello if you pop this way, since I'll never see you at a meet!

If it was up to me, it would have been a VW Golf R32, but she-who-must-be-obeyed does not want that
Start organising more in civilisation, or on days that I am actually in Bristol and I would be along
Heard rumours about you not sharing the mango juice though ...

I was LAST MAN STANDING at 05:15 that night!
But I was suffering a headache - fumes and being bounced to hell on the kart track took me by surprise. Second time in 12 years... Couple of Nurofen later and I got my second wind!!!
Oh and I meant Slough, not Bristol! For when you want to see that Fiat!
For Bristol - jump in with me next time. Promise it will be an embarrassing night!

Think Maidstone is the nearest to me to look / drive one of those things.
It is bad enough attending sport car meetings and get enough stick by Mrs PVR for doing that .... can you imagine if I said I was going to meet a load of X5 drivers
Straight jacket time for me I think ...

Next time tell her you're going for a pi$$ up! Sounds more credible! The X5 nerds is just a bonus that gets talked about for oh...... 5 minutes!
