New X5 from Durham

Hello everyone, thought I'd best introduce myself as I've already been learning quite a lot from the threads on here.

I've picked up a 2005 3.0d SE last weekend to use as a winter cruiser.  Specifically picked an X5 due to them having webastos as standard so will be attacking getting that to remote start as my first thread :)

It's got Panaramic Roof and the Sat Nav, and is really only missing heated seats, but that'll be job no 2 when I get round to it.  Also went specifically for an 18" wheel vehicle for tyre cost/ride quality/snow performance.

Here is a couple of pics

You're quite into your heating then ... I thought everyone up in your neck of the woods drove around in winter wearing shorts / T shirt, windows down, sunroof open, complaining about how hot it is ??  :))

Enjoy the ride ... you'll love it.

Hi and welcome - from Durham County myself  :)

Enjoy the X5 - I found mine great in the bad weather 2 years ago.

Graeme.
