http://www.lanepearson.co.uk/bmw-x6-xdr ... le-2342409

i'll fit the BBK i had from the x5 (i'll change the colour of calipers and the hats to maybe a custom purple colour), get the wheels painted black (space the alloys out) and then drop it like I did my e70.

Then i'll get the performance kit sprayed (and all the plastic arches etc) then add  a custom exhaust and remap.  The ice was stripped from the X5 so I'll also get that transfered over :-)

The 3piece 22" i'll fit again in summer, i'll split them and get the spokes colour coded to the car
happy days!

I'll keep you posted with pics! The x5 gone but not forgotton.  Looking forward to playing with the x6

Very nice......but.....

If it's a 40d, should it not say 8-speed rather than 6?  I thought all 40d cars were 8sp, only the 35d and 30d were 6 speed.  Could be a typo, but worth checking all the same.

When I was looking for my 40D I found the gears went from 6 to 8 around the same time the iDrive went to the new style (with the quick buttons around the controller dial) although being a newbie to BMW I couldnt tell you exactly when this was.

Like the wheels on the X5.

The X6 has a nice spec and head up display is cool feature.

Lovely spec, not sure if the pictures are the car though or another one they've had in.

i checked with them and thats the car, it does also have 8 year sI think they had a typo, never had a D before so first time for everything.  HUD is cool i've got it in the e70, its only good at night.  I wanted to try and get a good spec one so it be easier to shift on in a year or so

That sounds better.....and I use my HUD day and night, perhaps the later versions are brighter?  Not having seen or used the early versions I don't know how they compare.  In any event it's a very nice toy, and a very nice car.  The 8-sp box is superb.

And welcome to the X6 club.......pvr will now no doubt start on about round exhausts and how they should be square.....there is a kit.

some of the spec listed on the site isn't on the car and some of the spec contradicts itself, I'd have a good check on it if I were you, shadowline and dynamic pack for instance.
slightly fishy or just dealer not knowing what they are on about, but either way, it raises questions.

See if you can get the last 7 of the VIN and then use this thread (which ought to be part made into a sticky at least) from Post #4 to get the proper 'as built' spec for your car.

One of the options on the site will bring up the full build sheet.  Don't try it on an iPad.....it won't work properly!  Needs a PC.

+1 on the spec.  Almost as mad as mine ;-)
The listed roof rails seem to have disappeared though??  These are a 300 quid aftermarket purchase........
I got the 50i square exhaust outlets and trims [latter need painting and a little Dremel'ing to fit] kit for my 40d.  Go to BMWLand (sorry admin but it's a saving on parts I'm highlighting here) and check out the main dealer doing good discount on parts for [free] members.
Enjoy the car!

I remembered when I ordered my performance kit there seemed to be something about active cruise, not sure if its a different set up or something, make sure you let them know it has it when you order it.
