Link works fine.  A rare car in the UK though due to it being thirsty and our petrol not being as cheap as in the US.  It's a shame modern aircraft run on Avtur or Jet-A1......my old boss used to work at Farnborough and they all ran their cars on what came out of the aircraft tanks, which being the 50's & 60's was 100 octane petrol!  None of your turbojets then.  Proper piston engines for a lot of the transports.

i can't believe that they don't have the 4.0D model available in states. that would be more sensible purchase with enough power. if not the X5 than it will be 3 series.  i've seen a few US spec 335D on base here but not on the listings on the website so if 335d is available that it might be the next candidate with Xdrive. if not 335i with Xdrive.

Hmmm.....a lot of those are 6-cyl as well too.  Looks like a site cock-up.

BMW refused to get the 40D approved for the US/Canada market as it needed so much testing and different States have different requirements.  Too expensive so they just decided not to bother.  Range left with the 35D there and everyone else has the 40D.

Looks awesome - if money didn't matter I'd definitely go go the 50i over the 40d for the extra power, V8 engine sound and higher rev band. I'm still v happy with the 40d mind!  :)
