HI my name is paddy, some of you may know me from the z4 forum where i have been for a fair few years now. PVR suggested i take a look on here as i am considering complementing the z with an x5 as i may need the 4x4 for a new job in a more rural location. I m sorry if my first post seems a bit asking but I could really do with info on price, age, things to look for and are the older x5s realy an everyday proposistion.
Hope to be able to pop in and chat and anyone who wants z4 advice feel fee to ask!

Welcome aboard.
The early X5's certainly are an acceptable used proposition & currently used prices provide v.f.m. if you select & inspect sensibly. As with most prestige stuff with a few years/miles behind them - if you get it wrong & you could easily inherit significant bills courtesy of the previous owners neglect.
As has been said, my buyers guide ramblings can be found elsewhere on these boards.
