Pano sun roof fail

Post by spidey » Sat Oct 06, 2012 8:04 am

Hi Guys. The rear section of my pano sunroof stopped working. It's stuck in the vent position and will not close. I cannot see if there is anything stuck in the tracks. Any idea how I tackle this one?

Hi have a search for pano roof fix found one person saying fix can be done with new bits and also closing roof by a couple of inches in manual mode but think only front http://xdrivers.co.uk/forum/https://xdr ... 758#p14758

there is this thread which is a link to a repair but it closes rear section

http://xdrivers.co.uk/forum/https://xdr ... 529#p27529

and then goes to next link it goes on to say about closing it manually and repair see this one as looks helpful

Thanks GraemeX5 - the third link gives me a good idea of what is involved. I'll take a look and let you know.
