End of AUC warranty

Warranty renewal is through. Comprehensive with zero excess and breakdown cover is £1180 on 58K miles. Now do I renew or stick the money to one side minus a couple of hundred for a remap.
Anyone had engine/turbo warranty work done on a remapped car without any issues ? I have a brand new Exeo that needed security bolts and seals removing to remap and didn't think twice about warranty with it being so new but at 6.5yrs old now the E53 is probably more of a risk.
