Good choice of forum placement.

If TG likes the engine, what more is to me said?

Just wait until Jason gets his hands on one of those lumps - now that would be interesting....

but uses half the fuel.... O:-)

Yeah Right!  Most owners are not going to buy one to "pootle' as the article hints at.  Let's face it, it will be an awesome beast and has half the cylinders of a 'Q' too...... ;)

The 40d isn't exactly slow, so the M50d is likely to be a bit scary if given half a chance.....  :drive:  have to wait until they appear on the 'used' market....that's too pricey for me.

Dealer called me up today.  Car off assembly line by end of the week and on the boat from USA.  Expected here mid Nov.

Of course someone could always take it for a test drive before it gets on the boat.  Say a quick jaunt around Florida for a couple of weeks, just to make sure it's all glued together properly........>:D

Save the cost of a hire car AND the steering wheel will be on the correct side for a UK driver.... 8)

Going to be a great car.

Interesting that a 'diesel' oil burner rattle machine is a performance car!

Having got back into Mrs. M I yet again see the benefit of a diesel, they are full of torque and drive every bit as well as a petrol, if not better given the engine.
