Spacers for flared arches

I'm just getting my flared wheel arches put on at the minute.
Was just wondering what size spacers I should get for the front and rear arches.
I have just ordered 20mm front and 25mm rear, but after seeing the rear fenders, it looks as though the rear spacers I should get should of been closer to 30/40mm!??
Just thought I'd ask your opinion guys.

20mm front and 25mm rear will look the part. You can go bigger on the rear but I actually think it looks better with the rim just inside where the extended arch starts. Here's an old pic of mine with that configuration:

Not knocking the way your car looks now raj, but I really think your car looked the nuts how it was then! Really think the blue with the black trims looked just right! Beautiful car mate.
Just got the car back from my friends garage. Had the car serviced, arches put on and spacers in place. What a big difference these arches and spacers make. The car looks so much chunkier:) once I get the car washed and when the weathers abit more decent I'll get some pictures up for sure(I know I keep saying it but I will).
Think my next few mods will be to get the car lowered, some side bars as I think it makes the x5 look lower then the rear 4.8i splitter with some dummy tailpipes.
I'll keep u guys updated, that's if your bothered lol.

Of course we're bothered.
We always like to see what fellow X members do to their cars, for the good or bad. If nothing else it can help others make informed decisions about any mods they might be contemplating.
And yes - get some pics up

Fair comment tbh as the way mine looks now will always divide opinion.
Just spacers for me just want enough of a visual change, and personally always think colour coded looks better.
Look forward to the pics and future plans.
