Well I got my cctv up and running today with no major issues other than I'm using a video transmitter to send the pictures from the DVR in the loft down to my Tv in the lounge. This thing runs on the same frequency as my wireless router for internet which is interferring with the picture. Has anyone any ideas on how to prevent this? Ive moved my router as far away as poss from the reciever in my lounge but no real change.
Cheers

Change channel, you have about 11 channels from memory to chose from. Your wireless will be at default on 9, move that to 1 and move the CCTV to 11.

Thanks for the reply. I cannot see any channel switches on my router however there are on my transmitter which I've tried with no luck.

No try this link:

No need for the helpline. IP address is hopefully:
http://192.168.0.1
Oh and once you are familiar with access to your router - change that 'admin' password!

If you have a micro wave in the house, that will well and truly mess up the picture by the way whilst you use it ... I tried a transmitter a while back as well, but in the end hard wired everything as all wireless equipment is on the same frequency, and the microwave caused havoc as well.
