got through mot

My 2002 4.4 with lpg conversion and 73K on the clock went in for its' MOT today.
Really chuffed, passed with no problems at all.
( They did notice that new rear suspension mountings had been fitted (I did them last week)
and asked who had fitted them and when I said I had done the job they were quite impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Must be the time of year for it, got mine at 10am tomorrow.
Replaced front control arm bushes with Powerflex ones and yesterday I fitted some new 20" X6 wheels with decent rubber so just needs a wash to give the right impression and then I am hoping its all OK.

Good effort chap, mine got through with a minor and a questionable number plate... happy days !!

Yeah its nice even though you know the car is right.
Also while I was there getting the MOT done I noticed one of the little plastic striker plates on the lower tailgate where the boot latches into was missing, which may well explain my occasional rattle from the boot lid.

mine sailed through today with nothing needed other than 1 drop link and rear pads both of which i had already told him to change anyway, total bill including mot £153
