From web searches on X5 3rd generation, it seems that 2013 is the 'current' likelihood, though which market that is for is not as easy. I think that for the E53 and E70 the USA got them first (being built there I suppose that makes sense) and then the EU followed by everyone else.
It might be early 2014 before we see the new version? That makes sense as each model has so far had a 7-year lifespan including face lifts - or 'LCI' as it's now called.
