Noob reporting for duty.

Post by Finglonga » Tue Aug 07, 2012 9:20 pm

Hi all, been loitering for a while sold my e92 335i for a 2011 X6 40d a few months back.

Can't believe the power the 40d puts out and for it's size it can hustle along like a good un'.

Here are a couple of pics.

Andy.

Hi Andy,

And hello from a fellow 40d owner....the numbers are steadily rising now.. :D

They are a bit quick aren't they...... :policeman: :D. Had mine since Nov 10 and still can't get used to just how well these 2-tonne plus wagons can shift.

Not that the 335i is exactly a slouch either......although the sight of an X6 zooming up behind you might be more of a 'hint' to get out of the way than a 335i can project ahead.. 8)

Welcome aboard and very nice indeed. Better than those nasty vermilion red ones... :))

Welcome.  Looks good in black, but the 6 looks good full stop.

I would love an X6 but need 5 proper seats ;)

I would also need a healthy input from the National Lossery too.

Thanks folks, loving it already and surprised how smooth the 8speed gearbox is compared to the 335's DCT box. It is as smooth if not better and just seems like one constant surge to licence losing speeds. Plus I can get my fishing gear in this one easily. :))

Only from Feb 2011.  Four seater was only option on mine, and the 5th seat is.....well I would not want to sit on it for any time!!
