side running boards

Hi i Have a 08 e70 x5 M Sport
was wondering if its possible to put the aluminum running boards on like the e53  has ?
i know weve already got a small one but think aluminum ones look better  ::)

According to Realoem for that year of E70 there is a retrofit kit available.  Have a look at the link and use the last 7 characters of your VIN in 'Serial Number' to get your actual version.

Whether the M Sport has an 'Aerodynamic Kit' already fitted which may limit your options I can't obviously see on Realoem.
