19" wheels - always staggered?

A couple of questions on 19"s...

Did they only ever come from the factory with the rear wider (10" wide I think) than the front? Ie. was it possible to order with 9" wide all round?

Is there a resource somewhere that shows the various style of 19" wheels that were/are available from BMW for the E70?

Thanks in advance

hi I think they only sold 9" all round with winter tyres on !
try BMW-Treff it is a german website just list E70 on the left gives you all of the wheels that BMW did .

If you put the last 7 characters of your VIN into the 'Serial Number' box on Realoem website (Copy of BMW Parts lists) and look at the Complete tyre set section - select picture drill down if it's easier) you'll see the 19" sets are all common width not staggered.  20" set is staggered though.

If (like me) you buy a set of standard 19" rims then they are staggered and you can fit appropriate tyres.

I have a 20" set of 214s with Dunlop Sportmaxx for Summer, and a 19" staggered set of 168s with Pirelli Scorpion 'Ice & Snow' for adverse weather..  :)

Sorry to rehash this old topic.

Does anyone have an SE with 19" staggered wheels ie. 10" inch wide with 285/45/19 tyres and without flared wheel arches?

A pic would be nice!
