i think people on here dont realise how lucky we are, im also on the e30 forum and as soon as menchioned i have an x5 there is an army of jealous people saying real clever comments such as x5s are w**kers cars and x6s are for c**ts? i realy am sick of all the people on there they just spend all there time critisizing peoples cars and have no thaughts of individuality, so i said how they are generalising and commenting on cars they have never owned/driven, im sure if some of them drove an x series car they would see why we buy them!!

Simple jealousy........not worth bothering with those sort of folks IMHO.  Leave them in the herd of sheep they deserve to be flocking with.  They can't afford one so anyone with them must be a footballers wife or drug dealer, or banker as far as they are concerned! 

No doubt some of them have 'M' badges or even 'M3' badges on their clapped out 316........ ) ).  That an they have problems remembering which way round their baseball cap is worn......innit!

That's why this forum is so refreshing.....

Must admit I have been on a few car fourms in the past when I have had Golf GTI, etc and this place does seem to be so freindly and a nice place to visit compaired to others.

If you think that;'s bad.....when we had the freelander (I know I know) i went of landyzone and the ssh!te of abuse I got for just asking advice (like you would on here) about the fan belt issue would make your eyes water

The verbal abuse (covered up as pretence jest) was really something else. Now I know a few of you poke fun and you've probably come to know each other after sorts after a few posts. My first Hello met with a torrent of quite nasty comments
