A very fine example of Spartanburg engineering...

Looking very tidy & well detailed.
Sport badge the only thing not to my taste but then again it's your car not mine

Cheers all
I was waiting on someone jumping on my Sport badge
The X5 is just that bit plain for me at the back - this just sorts it out for me

I hadn't even noticed that....... :-[
But since you have now 'come clean' and fessed up to it, then I think a :banned: is now in order..

Personally I de-badge all my cars.
But I must confess that I have left the 'X5' on the boot as I think it looks a little too plain without it. But I'm still not sure.
Jury is still out.

Nice looking motor
Talking of badges, I would have loved BMW to put a nice V8 badge on mine. Has anyone found any that would look ok either on the back or under the 4.4 / 4.8 badge?

Looks ok,
Found this one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160832009602? ... 1423.l2661
Looks a bit more inkeeping with the 4.8is badge.
Has anyone put any V8 badges on an X5? would love a picture to see what it look like

Talking of badges, not so keen on the X5 /M50d. Looks a bit much!

I go through phases of debadging and badging - a wee change now and again keeps me interested in my car
Each to their own - we dont all want to be clones! X5 very common as is! I have been an Alfa Romeo driver for years laterly driving GTA versions of 156 & 147 which were few and far between

Interestingly when my X5 was delivered the Dealer debadged it so I did have a set, but the X6 came from the factory completely naked so to speak. I suspect it will be an expensive option to buy a set 'after the fact'
