Has anyone found any details on the updated X1? My wife is about to purchase and apart from a basic options sheet, there's no sign of a brochure anytime soon.

I thought that there was a brochure on the BMWUK website. My local dealer, Elms Cambourne, thinks they will get a demonstrator next month.

Currently only this is showing on the BMW GB Site
2013 LCI X1. Interesting that all models are to be diesels. No petrol options in the current line up - at least not for the UK anyway.
I'll have a chat with my local lot - a different Elms (Bedford)

I went there too, looking at X1s. I sat in a used xDrive23d, but they wanted too much for it. Then the sale took place and I got interested again while looking around Cambourne (I work at Wyton, near Huntingdon) and found my private seller on Autotrader.
But back to the 2012 information: I thought that I had information on updated models as the pdfs are dated May 12, but they are the old models.
I gather, from my neighbour who is interested, that the newer models have some useful updates -- to engines, steering and trim.

My wife placed her order last Friday. She's gone for a 2.0d xLine. Had a look on bmw.de today and they now have a mini-configurator so she's been able to confirm her trim choices prior to it being locked in:
http://www.bmw.de/de/de/newvehicles/x/x ... lizer.html - then click on 360 visualizer.
Seems a bit odd that you've been able to place an order for a while now, but BMW haven't got their configurator online or any brochures.

2.0d ED impressive mpg on paper and a repectful set of performance figures relatively speaking.
