Now there are 6 . . .

Post by threeshoes » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:30 pm

Well, I have just read that there were only 5 X1 drivers on this forum, so I thought I would up the number by 20%  :).

I've just bought a nearly-new xDrive23d in Cashmere Silver with Design Package and I am very happy with it.  The car has sufficient presence on the road to deter Aggressive Audis, but not so big I need to borrow money to fill it with fuel.  And it goes like the wind, especially with an auto box  >:D

Welcome aboard.  As a member of the also heavily outnumbered X6 group, it's good to see the minorities making a valiant rally against the brutes in the E53 and E70 Owners forums..... :punk: :punk:

Welcome to the X1 driver. Ignore the X6 lot as they have some sort of complex, you see, only a few of them but have the most posts of everyone  :))

Guess they don't get out much ...  :tease:

Thanks for the various welcomes.  I thought I had uploaded a picture, but there's no sign of it, and that makes me look a biff  ;)

Trying again . . .

it looks great from outside.. is it roomy inside? my wife saw one the other day and was wondering if we would get an SAV that size. so far i am sticking with X5 but after seeing the pic of X1 i might look at those and maybe X3 before we return back to stateside.

Yes, there is loads of room inside.  I came from a 320d SE Touring (E91) and there is slightly more space for people, slightly less for stuff in the back.  The rear seats have variable back settings as well.

It's going to be good weather today (maybe some showers), so I'll take some internal photos to try and capture the space available.
