Hi all

My dynasty style saga continues. I shall be dealing with the idiot trader regarding this and am going to try and sorts problems.

One thing I have noticed is the nav says I'm playing cd7 after the suspension error comes on and shortens the phone name to just the first 2 letters. It's either the susp error doing it or when I use diagnostics. I will reset everything and test my theory.

Any thoughts?

Probably find the data from all of the systems is being sent over the same data bus and it threw a wobbly.  Sometimes taking the battery off (both terminals) for 10 mins clears the electronics brain fart and all returns to normal!!

When my X6 threw a tantrum a month back the Emergency Service guy completely dissed the battery for 10-15 mins as this was still the standard 'reset'.  It didn't work as the dashboard PSU wasn't playing anymore.  It affected a lot of systems as data went through the panel.
