Hello!

Post by Chief1409 » Wed May 30, 2012 11:03 pm

Hi all,

Just a quick hello from me. Put a deposit down on a 2009 35d MSport today. Carbon Black, black leather, 20" 227M alloys, voice control, xenons, media pack and more.... The car will actually be my wife's car (the kiddie carrier) but I'm really excited about it as I've always liked X5s myself. My DD is a 2009 E92 M3, and previously I had a 3.0si Z4 Coupe. Seem to be doubling the size of my cars every time!

Looking forward to getting some good info from xdrivers as previously I used the excellent z4forum and it was a great help so I trust this one will be the same. Hopefully I can be of help too (already posted in another topic!)....

No pics as yet, will get them up as soon as like a good poster should! :driving:

Hello and Welcome...... :D
Of course you do realise the car will only be 'Hers' until the fuel tank is empty, then it will be 'Yours' until you refuel it... :fuelfire: :D

Arghh!

Wife's current car has broken down and now needs to go to garage! Hopefully not expensive as that'd be a proper kick in the you know what's just before we trade it in!

Sitting in the garage waiting to pick up the wife's car after a hefty repair bill of £1200 only to take it straight to the BMW dealer to pick up the X5!! Lucky all under warranty!

Will get pics up soon as I can!

That's a   .
In the current weather, you'll probably be glad of the extra 'presence' the X presents to the wind (they're actually pretty good)..... :drive:

Now officially an Xdriver!
Picked up the car at 2.30pm (by the time handover was complete it was 3pm) then had to make a quick dash along the M74 to get home in time to see the Olympic torch go past - that car can shift! For such a big car I'm amazed at how well it moves and all so smooth with very little fuss. Brilliant! Pics early next week as off on a stag do now!
