X5 radio stopped working!

Post by Benxwyatt » Tue May 29, 2012 9:33 am

Hi guys, my missus has just told me the radio will not turn on, so I've had a quick look and everything works like the time and BC but the radio doesn't! Any ideas? Thanks

Can't remember which one it is, but there's a reset procedure for this, you have to remove the relay/fuse wait a minute then re-fit, worked for me.
Sure someone will be along in a minute with either a link or better explanation, or try doing a search.

A quick search reveals that if it's just a reset then fuse no 7 in the glovebox and fuses 72-73 in the rear compartment need to be pulled, but double check on the fuse identification panel before removing.

The above fix mine remove all and then refit all, don't just pull one and refit.
