When I started looking for an X5 in Jan this year there was a 2003 BMW AUC 4.6 with a very similar spec and less miles to yours up for just over £9k. Within weeks the asking price dropped to well below £9k and that was before negotiation. Based on that and the fact it would have come with a BMW warranty then I'd say you were well over with your price.

I would say its a little overpriced, it looks lovely with a very nice spec and you would probly get 8k if you hang on, but I've seen a lot now for 7k ono so if you wantneed a fast sale would look more for 7k

I can appreciate your honesty in the advert, but when I see the list of repairs I would run a mile.

Obviously only my opinion and how I would read / react to that.

I'd be the reverse as the mileage is nearing 100k I would feel better knowing that major parts have been replaced, the history looks like it's a well cared for motor. Can't believe so much car goes for so little, except when I want to buy one of course.

The whole openness is actually a good thing as I too would look at that and feel a little more confident that the car had had money spent on it to keep it well maintained.

The only thing unfortunately is simply the price. I've spoken to a couple of traders and they have found just not much is shifting at the mo, unless significant price reductions have been applied. There are a lot of motors out there so it really is a buyers market.

It is a nice example though so good luck with the sale.

Your advert info would be spot on for me but many will run a mile.

I would edit out a lot of content & remove the references to bills & most repairs.

I would mention new box, tyres brakes & maybe rear bushes.

This despite the reality that many examples out there need loads spending to sort issues either now or in near future.

Similar cars for sale with LPG fitted for less money are probaly not helping despite few for sale as well maintained as yours.

If looking to change I would happily buy your car on back of your advert but like others I would want to pay less. If nothing else than to reduce lrisk of any loss if I had to sell on soon therefater purchase.

I think it's a nice car with a good spec and as a few of the others have it shows you have not scrimped on any repairs which is a good sign with these cars gives a person piec of mind.

The thing to be is patient as my brother in law says sometimes you havecto sitbon stuff for 3 months but it will sell its just time and unless you are desperate you can always dop the price later or when a buyer comes and starts negotiating

The thing is though you could sit on it for 3months and still not sell, I feffo think the price is too high with some of the others been nrarly 4k cheaper that's a lot of money for repairs especially as yours won't be free from bils and there's nothing to say the cheap ones will go wrong, just my opinion
