smooth roof anyone??

nice little smoothing of the roof mod i did today whilst bored without the rest of the car back.....

Nice, now get some decent pics of that. Standards slipping! One of the first to the mod, give it some justice!

i will get some pics up but basically you remove the brackets for the roof rails which are a m6 bolt about 2" long your then left with a hollow hole and the 10mm of m6 threaded hole so i put a blob of sillicone into the treads and screwed in an m6 bolt with a washer on that was 10mm long (i had to slot the top of each bolt to put them in with a screwdriver as a socket doesnt fit) i then filled the rest of the hole with black silicone to flush with the roof, i then covered the silicone and the hole with clear stick back plastic, this way round it is reversable!! pics if ever it stops raining
