Hi, my name is jamie. Just picked up an 07 plate x5 e70 3.0es with dynamic pack. Looks really good and drives superb, after coming from a 08 nissan 350z, its certainly a totally different car with respects to power delivery and that feeling of luxury!

One thing i would like to know is, what are the straight forward or 'must have' mods to make to the x5? I was looking at the larger exhaust tips from the 4.8, but there are always little things you can do to make it different.

Also could someone explain how to get pictures up please.

Welcome to the forum, mods on an E70 will have to come from forum owners but exhaust tips, alloys for starters.

If you want to know what 'official' retrofits are out there, have a look at Realoem for the parts lists. You just need your last 7 characters from you VIN to pull up your car...

Sorry no - don't own an E70 X5.

Call BMW Cotswolds on 01432 375563 for the parts dept and they will advise. Tell them you're on this forum and they will apply a discount and free postage.

The E71 kit is approx £400 plus fitting and painting if that gives a clue as to the likely figures.....changes the normal round tips to the 50i tailpipes (rectangular).
