Hi All,
Nice place you have here and learning a lot, thanks. I'm English, in Spain and just picked up a 02, 3.0i sport.
Noob question of the year, as I can read the manual yet is....how the hell do you reset the average fuel mileage?
Cheers, Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum....
If you need an English Manual then
these will help. How to do it will depend upon the actual spec.
And don't forget the piccies....
And
this topic by our own Sanj tells you how.

Hi Guy's
Thanks for the link to the manual...well i read it, and damn it, I cant appear to get it to reset. I press that BC in and hold, does not reset - maybe have to go to a dealer for a thumb reprint.
Petrol used to be cheap here at 1 euro for shell ultra or whatever, (98 plus anyway) that was about 3 years back. Now, 1.64 euro a litre of same. So not cheap at all anymore, the eurozone is getting leveled out i guess.

Hi & welcome
Does your 'X' have Sat Nav? if so you should be able to go to the OBC section and re set from there. On every BMW I have had, you have always been able to re set average consumption from the BC button on the indicator stalk
