We just picked up our 2001 4.4i in silver up on sunday. its in pretty good shape and has 91,800 miles on the clock and just had its service in December.
fuel consumption isn't going to be a huge problem as the car is my wifes so will only be doing 3k a year and would never recoup the extra cost of diesel version.
Only issue we had was alarm going off which has been solved thanks to these forums. also the last MOT flagged an oil leak as an advisory so will prob get that looked at on the next service.
the previous owners use to smoke inside so its getting nice full valet on Monday
so will post some pics when its nice and shiney
